disappointing. I hope NewEgg gets the appeal. There's no way a plaintiff in one of these would allow me on a jury.

download always. Less space and no worries of losing the disc
Steam: quick, convenient, supported. Box for EA games, because Origin needs to pull up its socks
I like physical media unless I can download a fully functional version as a backup. I guess it is a lack of trust.
depends on the contract with the provider and quality of the interface
i prefer physical media without activation requirements, this allows me to play it years later after activation service stops.
I used to be extremely skeptical of non-physical media... then I started using about 2 months ago. That changed things.
Steam. no disc required to play and steam cloud saves...
"like Steam" has too many critical variables. This question cannot be reasonably answered.
nothing worse than scratching or breaking a cd, steam wins
I prefer downloads and tracking my licenses in the cloud - as long as I can play off-line. Otherwise: media.
I like the convenience of digital, but a physical and tangible purchase is far more satisfying.
depends on how portable it is via digital distributions. I can install games to an external, and sign in anywhere w/ steam.
Steam. Don't have to worry about damaged or lost discs.
downloading is much nicer if the service can deliver it quickly. I'm so tired of physical media.
you don't have to worry about loosing a download (just the password to the account with the software publisher)
I like owning things, not renting it from a service.
I like to use Steam so all my games are available anywhere and are all together. I refuse to use multiple services, Origin etc
especially for gamers who prefer English but don't live in an English speaking country, digital offers many benefits.
Depends on how invested I am in the series. I'm a sucker for limited editions when I can afford them. Otherwise, Steam.
Buying frm Physical M : What do you think is better? Buying the game on physical media or downloading from a service like Steam?
Ars Technica with the tough questions :)
Depends, is it release day? If so, then steam it is. Why not avoid crowds and start playing as soon as it hits the AM?
Physical media is best...and prices should reflect it too DL content should be 30-50% cheaper imo
It seems like a lot of computer games come with an update out of the box now, so you might as well get it digital.
Physical. I have a 2Mbit down connection, so downloading anything large is terrible.
I don't really have a preference. Digital for anything that doesn't have physical CE paraphernalia that I want.
Physical but then I am very very old
I prefer both if I really care about a game series. I don't own multiple copies of the Dept. Heaven series for nothing.
it's nice to have the physical box but the steam cloud support, community and other services are priceless!
