By the way, that was all done with no treatments. The nucs that failed starved. Really hard to do nucs that small if the winter is harsh.

Checked the hives again today. 10 for 10 survival in full hives, 2 for 5 with nucs. Nucs that didnt make it were 4 & 5 frames

Warm enough for the girls to be flying today. So far all 8 full size hives survived, 3 of 6 nucs still humming. All look very strong.

@Wavey10078 It's been dry here in Iowa so mating wasn't a problem in my hives that swarmed. I'll keep you posted with how e grafts go.

Looks to be 33% success with the grafts, which is ok as I grafted way more than I needed. Making splits next week #beekeeping
